13th International Conference on Fracture June 16–21, 2013, Beijing, China -10- From 1D consolidation simulation case, the solution will effectively converge to the prescribed tolerance during the iterations. The effect of stabilization term on the convergence rate should be further explored. An optimal value should be pursued whenever possible. The applicability of the iterative scheme for nonlinear problems should be further studied.
