13th International Conference on Fracture June 16–21, 2013, Beijing, China -10-  From 1D consolidation simulation case, the solution will effectively converge to the prescribed tolerance during the iterations.  The effect of stabilization term on the convergence rate should be further explored. An optimal value should be pursued whenever possible.  The applicability of the iterative scheme for nonlinear problems should be further studied.
