Conclusion Failure analysis procedure of steel wire drawing fracture was proposed and the significance of every step was explained. Microscopic analysis and metallographic examination of pencil-point shaped, plane shaped and inclined shaped fracture were optimized by fracture modes and investigation of fracture failure.
