The simulation results show good agreements with the experimental measurements for all loading conditions and stress triaxilities. It should be noted that the specimens for the characterization of the weld metal and the smooth tensile specimens from the HAZ of HC340LAD have been manufactured and tested with reduced dimensions and gauge lengths to obtain valid experimental data. The materials’ ductility in terms of technical fracture strains in tensile tests cannot be compared in these cases. Figure 7.
